Join the BioBlitz

Scientists
BioBlitzes depend on the expertise of scientists. The chart below is a rough (and somewhat arbitrary) guide to the major groups of organisms for the purposes of the BioBlitz. If you have expertise with a particular taxon and would like to join the BioBlitz, please use the Registration Form (at the bottom of this page). Once you register, we'll put you in touch with a "taxon leader," who will coordinate your team's survey efforts. We're also asking scientists to share some of their time and knowledge with other BioBlitz participants who want to learn more about a given taxon.

Naturalists
If you have a general interest in nature (but no particular expertise with a given group) you may be able to join scientists during survey work, or take a guided walk on the BioBlitz site. Use the Registration Form (at the bottom of this page) to register as a "Generalist" and be sure to include your particular area of growing interest.

Volunteers
The BioBlitz needs volunteers to help with planning, set-up, clean-up, and other activities during the big event. If you'd like to volunteer for this noble effort
use the Registration Form (at the bottom of this page) to register as a "Volunteer." Thanks!
