Delve into the details of human/bear interactions and examine fur, teeth, and claws for the answer. Discover why the Black Bear is considered an umbrella species and investigate the importance of wildlife travel corridors. This weekend event is great fun for the whole family and free with admission to the VINS Nature Center which is $8 for adults and $6.50 for children. All VINS members are admitted for free. The VINS Nature Center is located just 1/4 mile west of Quechee Gorge on Rte. 4 in Quechee, Vermont. The Vermont Institute of Natural Science is a non-profit, member-supported organization headquartered in Woodstock, Vermont, with regional offices in Manchester, Montpelier, and Quechee.
