VINS Releases a Merlin Tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. in White River Junction

This just in.... VINS will be releasing a Merlin, a small raptor slightly bigger than an American Kestrel, on Wednesday, November 10th, at 4:00 p.m. at the Greater Hartford Municipal Building in White River Junction, VT. Hunter Reisberg, Hartford Town Manager, will be releasing the bird along the river by the Municipal Building. The public is invited to attend this event.

Sorry for the late notice, but we just successfully prey-tested the Merlin an hour ago and it passed; therefore we want to release it ASAP because we are near the end of the safe migration period for this species.

Please feel free to call me with any questions.
