VINS' PREDATORS OF THE SKY PRESENTATION GOING ON THE ROAD DURING THE HOLIDAYS

Quechee, VT - This November and December, The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) will take its hugely successful raptor educational program, Predators of the Sky, to various communities throughout Vermont and New Hampshire to help spread the word about the unique role raptors play in our environment and to raise funds for VINS. The Predators of the Sky Program, developed by VINS to serve as its signature educational program at the VINS Nature Center in Quechee, is both an educational and entertaining program featuring live birds of prey such as eagles, hawks, kestrels, and owls who demonstrate their superior hunting and flying skills throughout the program. "Since our opening this past June, over 30,000 visitors have visited the VINS Nature Center and everyone has commented on how much they enjoy our Predators of the Sky Program. We are very proud of this achievement. However, many Vermont and area residents have not had an opportunity to visit the VINS Nature Center yet, so we've decided to come to them. We want to provide as many Vermonters and area residents an opportunity to see these majestic creatures up close and to learn about VINS. The program is ideal for people of all ages, making it a perfect family event for the holidays.", says Jason Drebitko, VINS' Executive Director.

The following is a list of the dates and venues where VINS will be presenting its Predators of the Sky Program. Tickets are $3.50 for children (ages 3-14) and $5 for adults. General admission seating tickets will be sold at the door one hour before each performance. Also available will be great holiday gift ideas from the VINS Nature Store, photo opportunities with the raptors, and information on how to adopt-a-raptor.
