WILDFLOWER WALK WITH VINS IN MANCHESTER
Manchester, VT – April showers have brought April flowers. Susan Morgan of the Vermont Institute of Natural Science in Manchester will lead a walk on the Equinox Preserve in Manchester to view and identify some of spring’s woodland wildflowers. The walk will be held on Friday, April 30, 10 a.m. – Noon.

Before the leaves unfold and shade the forest floor, the first flowers of spring take advantage of a warming and sunny environment to blossom and set seed. Hikers and naturalists know that bloodroot blossoms and trout lily flowers usher in the growing season.

Bring your camera, your binoculars, your field guides, or just your curiosity on this easy walk in the woods. The program is free for VINS members and $3/person or $10/family for nonmembers.

Please call (802) 362-4374 to register and learn of the meeting place.
