Leila Duchac

Leila's internship with VINS began in September 2007 and will end in March. Leila graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut in May 2007 with a degree in Archaeology, but has always had a passion for wildlife and animal care. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Leila is happy to be away from the city life, and to enjoy everything Vermont has to offer. This internship is Leila's first experience in wildlife rehab, and she is very excited to learn all she can about avian rehabilitation and care. Leila has already learned so much over the past month; she can't wait to see what the future holds for her at VINS! Other interests include singing, drawing, and food.
