Suggestions and Reminders for ELF Coordinators

Many schools produce ELF newsletters or have an "ELF Corner" in the regular school newsletter. What a great idea! To help coordinators that are interested in doing that, we have made some templates that you can use as a starting point. Please check out some possibilities here or find links on the webpage for each ELF unit.

Early in February, VINS will mail ELF applications to all continuing ELF towns (due back to VINS March 24, 2006). Download the 2006-07 ELF Application as a pdf file here.

Please ask teachers and principals to complete feedback section of the application.

Connect with school's parent group for funding – noting the significant contribution ELF makes to the school.

Included with the 2006-07 ELF application is a nomination form for the Jenepher Lingelbach Award for an outstanding ELF volunteer. Nominations are due back to VINS by March 31, 2006. To nominate someone, please see your Volunteer Coordinator, or download the form as a pdf file here.
