VINS's newest publication, Small Wonders: Nature Education for Young Children is now available! Featuring nearly 300 hands-on activities for the very young, Small Wonders is a delightful introduction to the natural world for children aged 3-6. Click here for more information. ELF applications for next year are due to VINS by March 24! Please call the ELF office (802) 457-1053 ext. 111 or 116 with any questions or download the application as a pdf file here.

As coordinators fill out their ELF applications for next year, we have had several calls about ELF scholarships and the supporting "letter of need". There is more information about ELF scholarships on the Frequently Asked Questions page.

Talk about ELF at Town Meeting – to garner support and recruit volunteers!

The pledges portion of the 2005-06 ELF bill is due March 1, 2006.

Each year VINS awards the Jenepher Lingelbach Award to an outstanding ELF volunteer. Nomination forms went to Volunteer Coordinators with the 2006-07 ELF application or can be downloaded here as a pdf file. Nominations due back to VINS by March 31, 2006. The winner will be announced at ELF Day, May 24, 2006.
