Suggestions and Reminders for ELF Coordinators
New this year! At the end of each unit in the coordinator's binder and on each unit's web page, you will find a set of Learning Goals outlining what students should take away from their ELF lessons. We have now included information on the grade cluster expectations for each unit, as well. These are very helpful for volunteers putting together a lesson!

Put together a packet for each volunteer that includes a list of volunteer names and phone numbers AND a calendar for the year showing ELF workshops, ELF in class times, ELF materials due, school vacations, etc. Copy for all volunteers AND teachers AND principal.

Consider doing a presentation about ELF (what is it and what volunteers get out of it) or having an ELF activity table at Open House to recruit more volunteers.

If your school has any remaining ELF materials left over from last school year, please return them to your trainer at the first workshop!!

School budget portion of ELF fees is due. Bills were sent out to principals in July.

First ELF workshop of the year!
