Mission

Small Wonders
Inspires preschool children to discover the natural world around them together with their care providers. VINS's newest education publication, Small Wonders: Nature Education for Young Children is now available! Featuring nearly 300 hands-on activities for the very young, Small Wonders is a delightful introduction to the natural world for children aged 3-6. Click here for more information. Environmental Learning for the Future (ELF)
Awakens the natural curiosity of elementary school children through hands-on explorations of the natural world with the guidance of parent and community volunteers.

Environmental Citizenship
Challenges students in grades 5 - 12 to make informed decisions that balance human and wildlife needs by understanding ecological systems and conducting field investigations

Outreach
Delivers dynamic and interactive natural science programs to communities across Vermont and beyond
