VINS classroom and outdoors
Join local photojournalist Rob Strong for an exclusive portrait session with some of Vermont's most stunning models – the hawks, owls, and other birds at VINS. Rob will go over essential techniques to improve your digital or film photography, illustrated with pictures of VINS’ raptors. The class will enjoy a rare up-close photo shoot with live birds.

Includes: Slide show in classroom on techniques, demonstration of good/bad lighting, and then photo session with 4-5 different birds.

Rob Strong is an Upper Valley-based freelance photographer. He has worked for magazines and newspapers, colleges and universities, and nonprofits all over the world. The first exhibition of his landscape photography is opening this July at the PhotoStop gallery in White River Junction.
