Neurological damage is frequently paired with ocular trauma, and is a common result of vehicle collisions and window strikes. Specimens* will be used to compare head & skull morphology between species, look at the anatomy of the eye, and relate various symptoms to injury location. We will discuss proper stabilization, medications, and supportive care for head trauma patients, as well as evaluation for improvement and determining releasability. Workshop includes: lecture with PowerPoint presentation and hands-on lab.
