| Adopt-a-Raptor The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to protect our natural heritage through education and research designed to engage individuals and communities in the active care of their environment. The VINS Adopt-a-Raptor Program is a fun way to learn about raptors and other birds, while supporting VINS at the same time! When you participate in this program, you help care for one of VINS' resident birds, which serve as educational ambassadors for the natural world. Each year, VINS also cares for and releases hundreds of injured wild birds of all species. Consider giving a VINS adoption as a gift, too! Adoptions are valid for one year from date of contribution.
