Here are some other ways that you
can put your birding observations to use for bird conservation. We like to call
it "birding for a purpose"! Vermont
Breeding Bird Atlas 2003-2007 Once every 25 years, Vermont maps
al of the birds that breed in the state. Over 300 volunteers are going out birding,
and their data are used to help guide bird conservation on state and regional
levels. All skill levels are welcome! The website has plenty of links for birders.
Vermont
eBird The latest, most exciting way to report your bird sightings
and look up those of others in any geographical region and time period. Whether

enter them on eBird and contribute to an ever-expanding database of knowledge,
available immediately to students, conservationists, researchers, and of course,
